I have been looking for one of the Carter Sacred steel Bars with the relief cuts in the side (IF YOU HAVE ONE FOR SALE PLEASE EMAIL ME--I WILL BUY IT).

I emailed the Shubb company to ask if they had any plans to make anything that might resemble that bar and Rick Shubb emailed me back and said that if there was interest/demand for a bar that was a bit larger than the SP1 bar with either a hook or bullet nose that they might make one. They already make the 7.5 oz. RR2 bar which is the Robert Randolph model, but it does not have the hook on the end or a bullet nose.

My question: Is there any interest among players here for such a bar??

If so, which nose is more interesting--hook or bullet.

The problem with the RR bars is that they are really long. I tried them and they are not really all that heavy either. It would be interesting to see someone make a more substantial bar- though interest might be limited as dobro guys would lose speed with the added weight.
