This is a dumb question I know, but is the tubeworks mosvalve 500 a solid state amp or is it tube. I though they wwere tube amps but I am buying one from a guy and I asked him what type tubes doe's it have and he says that it is solid state.

Are some tube are are they all just solid state.

Ben, it is infact a solid state amp. No tubes involved at all. They have a very warm tone to them which is about as close to a tube sound you can get in a SS amp.

Please understand that there is no such thing as a dumb question with the exception of the one that is never asked! Very Happy
