Sho Bud Pro 1 question

other than the decal, what is the difference in a Pro 1 and "The Pro 1" ?

None at all. There are also guitars that simply say Sho~Bud without a Pro designation and they're not student models.

From what I've been able to learn, the factory ran with what they had at any given time.
