Thanks Fred and Ron,
One day I'll figure it out.
I was talking with Neil the other day and placed an order for a new blackwood "Kona" style weissenborn and he sent me these picture's.
I thought everyone might be interested in a peek. If it was mine I think I would tune to a low "G" and 5 up to a "D" on the second neck, or maybe 3 up for playing minors. I would be a real fine project to work at learning to play both necks at the same time. One day |

Does this mean my Celtic Cross has just skyrocketed in value?
Beautiful instrument. |

Neil has now e-mailed me a picture of the finished guitar!
If anyone who is able to upload pictures properly (I haven't got any webspace) would like to send me an e-mail, I will send the pic so it can be seen by all here. |

How does it sound, I wonder? Do the two sound holes alter the tone/volume in anyway?
I know that on the "Veena" type Indian instruments, there are sympathetic strings that vibrate from the playing of the other strings.
Now I've been known to get plenty of sympathy when I play.... .....I'm wondering if the strings on the neck not being played would also vibrate in sympathy? |

I was talking with Neil a couple of days ago and he had a hot player over and was putting the double neck though its paces. He said it sounded real good, very loud with a well balanced tone.I'm glad I don't have to pay for the pickups. |
