Do the two-hole pullers with barrels have better or smoother pedal action than the rack and barrels for the single raise/lower fingers on old Shobuds? I've never played the two-hole puller with barrels before. I have a Professional with racks now, and used to have a Super Pro, Pro I, and a Pro III Custom double raise/single lower. I never played a fingertip either.

By saying pedal action I mean less travel and resistance and more precise stops and pitch returns.
I would like to hear your opinions.
Thanks, Dave Smile

I too owned a bunch of Buds... I may get disagreement, but the most precise and easiest playing mechanism was on my double raise double lower ProIII.. All played well ,even my rack and barrel 6139[wish I still had THAT one!!], but the 2+2 changer/small pedals really played soft and quick.. as good as anything I ever owned really, except my current Carter...
I just could not keep that guitar in tune for more than an hour, and it started souring me on sho bud mechanisms in general....... bob
