We've finished recording our latest CD, called Surrender, and while it won't be available for sale for a few weeks yet, you can listen to complete songs here or some clips here. I'm playing my Michael Dunn Rhythm Futur and my '29 Tricone throughout.

I appreciate you taking the time to listen and look forward to any comments you may have

Here's a pic of my Tricone in Allaire Studios' Sunset Room, where I'd practice each morning.

I've said all there is to say "over there", but'll just add that I'm really looking forward to the CD (and I want your guitars...).

Hi Mike, sounds great man!
I used to see the Moonlighters play back when I lived in Bklyn. Fellow named Henry Bogden was playing lap steel if i remember correctly..cannot remember the name of the venue but it was a restaurant bar on the corner of Metropolitan ave. Cheers and nice work!

Mike,

What a nice place to practice. I did not remember that New Jersey had any high mountains. Surprise!

Nice clear recording and well done.

Aloha,
Don

I am looking so forward to the new Moonlighter's cd.

Very nice original material, played and sung so well. I have probably seen them at least 24 times over the last 2 years, since Mike first began with them.

They have grown and evolved, still keeping their originality, roots, and the overall feeling and love for the timeless music that they do their way.

The new Moonlighter's cd and Steinar's new cd...these are on my list. I believe that we're in a golden age of steel music.

Hey Mike - nice studio! Where is it located? Also, not sure what I'm doing wrong, but I can't find the link for the new mp3's from the new CD on either site. I did go to Bliss' site, and found mp3 links, but I think their from the older CD's(?) At least, I thought I recognized the titles from a while back.

The other link you posted takes me to myspace.com, but I don't see the mp3 links there, or at least with my bad eyesight, can't find them on the page.

?

Looking forward to hearing them. Thanks!

Todd, I believe you need to have Flash installed to view the player.

We've scheduled 2 record release shows. Unfortunately, I doubt we'll have the new CD available in time for the Shenandoah Hawaiian Guitar Fest.

April 14 at Mo Pitkin's House of Satisfaction in NYC, and May 3 at Maxwell's in Hoboken. Then it's off to Europe....
