Hello Guys,
I'm a new member of about two months. I enjoy the Forum very much. My guitar is a Cherokee pull/release system. I use the Jimmy Day set-up. I won't tell how long I've been playing, but I bought this guitar new in 1973. I have several Peavey amps and an older Fender Twin. Now I am using a Nashville 400. My set-up works very well for me. I do think I might like a newer guitar. Can anyone tell me about the Performance guitars.
Thanks,
Bryant Aycock (aka: Preacher) |

Guys,
Thanks for that warm welcome. I love to hear steel guitar in all types of music. I am a traditionalist, but I don't like to hold the instrument back. I am looking forward to playing a package show with Don Helms in Selma, N. C. on December 30th. Don will be with the Malpass Brothers and probably Clyde Mattocks will play also. I haven't talked to Clyde, but he works this show often. We have a traditional country band and plan to have a great time.
Thanks,
Bryant |
