I've added a couple of new tunes to my page. One is a funky groove thing featuring pedal and lap steels
and the other is a funky groove thing featuring reso guitar and clawhammer banjo.

"Never Been to New Orleans" and "UndergroundOverhead"

Click on the link.

Thanks,

I just toured your MySpace site Joe and picked out my favourite; "Waikiki Waltz. I was broken hearted that I couldn't download it however. Crying or Very sad

You have what it takes to be a steel guitarist, great playing.

Very Happy

Excellent work Joe!

I like the "backward rakes" on Never Been To New Orleans - the other tunes too!

Thanks, fellars. I'm excited to get this project done so I can start on the next one.

Gerald, I was trying to create a Professor Longhair type of vibe. Glad you dug it.

Thanks,

I had a little trouble finding you Joe.

This should make it easier.

Waikiki Waltz, Never Been To New Orleans, Underground Overhead

I'll bet you enjoyed doing these numbers. Cool

I liked Waikiki Waltz the best, followed by Underground Overhead.

Thanks Don. Just clicking on the myspace link in my signature would get you there. I've had a ball writing and recording these tunes. A huge learning experience as I had to learn ProTools and did most of the recording at home. I played many of the instruments myself. The final version of Waikiki Waltz has some musical saw included in the mix. The one on myspace is an earlier mix w/o the saw. It sounds really cool to me. Since the song is kind of cheeky anyway, it just adds to the comedy! I think musical saw was really hot back in the vaudeville days. I'm a novice.....Thanks for your input and the additional link.
Best, Joe

BTW, Les....I didn't permit downloads hoping that people might actually BUY a copy when the disc is ready!!!!!!!
