Just ran across this Youtube video. Harry Reser, the great tenor banjoist and leader of the Clicquot Club Eskimos among others playing a 7 or 8 string frypan with a Rick amp. Pretty weak tune, and doesn't show what a skilled and musical virtuoso Harry was, but it's really interesting to me just the same. Shows what an impact the steel guitar was making on the rest of the music industry at the time.

Interesting and historical video. I like the end where the woman comes on stage and wheels the lap steel stand and amp away. They were both attached to a small dolly with wheels. Cute.
