My Husband has a 1980 Miller Custom sd 10
Now he has a Mullen u12 about 2001
I took him 30 years to wear out the miller.
I hope it takes him at least that long to wear the mullen,by the he will be 100 years old and I will still be his Roadie. _________________ Mullen u-12

With regard to newest, anyone who has a new guitar on order wins that one.
For oldest, don't even mention anything newer than a frying pan. |

I disagree, Mr. Brookes. If a guitar is on order, by definition one doesn't have it yet. It may, in fact, never arrive. _________________ Amor vincit omnia |

My 1928 Tri-cone is kind of ancient but it still sounds great at almost eighty. |

Well I have a 1937 Silver Ricky I play and record with sometimes. I use it only when the mood strikes me.
Next, I also now have a 1947-49 Alamo double-eight Futuramic steel. It is being refurbished now.
I also play a 14 string BMI Zane Beck Musical Instrument that Zane and Don Fritsche custom built for me in 1984. At that time Zane told me himself that he put more pullson that steel guitar than on any other he built. Others play 14 stringers now, but still more 12 stringers.
There were not to many of these 14 stringers around then, certainly in 1984. Julian THarpe and Julian "Winnie" Winston had the only two 14 stringers I knew of at that time. After hearing Julian Tharpe, he was the reason I went to the 14 stringer and in that direction.
