I am playing for a friend at a showcase in Austin, TX on Dec. 29, and am spending Christmas in Washington, DC, so I'm considering driving down. My friend wants me in Austin on the 27th, so I'd like to split up the drive with a gig on the 26th in the tennessee/arkansas area, and on the way back to boston on 12/30...you can check out my playing at myspace.com/johnckingsley...even if the gig doesn't pay, I'd be willing to do it for a place to stay/cold beer...
