Doug will be in town this weekend for two shows. Saturday night and Sunday night the 15th and 16th. Both shows begin at 7:00pm. 2 hours of Country Christmas music and fun with one of the best steel pickers in the world. Come join us! It is absolutely free at New Life Church, 1636 Hastings Ave. Port Townsend Washington. If you are a picker and want to go to lunch with Doug and me on Sunday. . .just let me know

Thanks Jim, Doug will use your 1000 and your Fessy. I'm looking forward to seeing it and you. I appreciate you letting us use your gear. Bob you are a legend in this area, I'd love to have you pick some Dobro with Doug. Would you guys like to go to lunch with Doug? Pick his brain? Let me know.

I want to thank pastor Bill for organizing and putting together 2 great shows,adding Doug to the ticket was just making the pot sweeter than it was.I also want to personally thank Doug Jernigan for taking the time to come to the northwest to share his talent with us.Doug played a new Fessey that he sold me only a week before ,this guitar only had about 10 hours on it(only 1 hour was mine).After the last show, Doug told me that it was time for new strings .I asked which neck reply was both!what a picker,thanks again Doug and Pastor Bill Wolfe for a great weekend!.

Your welcome Jim. Thanks for the use of the Fessy and other equipment. Sure sounded GREAT!!!!! Hope to bring Doug back in the future and hope you can come back up this way. You are welcome anytime. Thinking about doing another Steel guitar clinic with Doug and maybe another steeler in Port Townsend this summer. What do you think?
