The “Drone” sound. (Drone-- a note that is sounding while something else is being played) As in Bag Pipes and Fiddle.

Timing is the key here. Carefully time your pedal push with you bar slide so the pedal movement (change) on the “Drone” note, string 5, is not heard. A nice lick between vocal lines in a song, caution though, it can be over played.
