I've decided to sell one of my Push Pulls. This one is an original 1972 Fatback with 9 pedals and 4 knee levers. The only issue is the C6th PUP has a corner broken off of the bottom. Its small but took out the mounting screw hole. It came to me that way and has never been a problem. It plays fine and the PUP is firmly seated to the mounting plate by the other 3 screws. The pedal is attached to the pedal bar but would require all the necessary bell cranks, rods and collars installed.
To make sure everything was adjusted properly and plays fine I sent it to Duane Becker out of Spokane, who not only owns and plays Push Pulls professionally but is also becoming a good PP Tech too. Hopefully he'll post some remarks.
Includes an original Emmons case that is in good working order but does have a few chips and some cuts in the Tolex. Fretboards are Chrome with wide frets.
The early 70's PP's had some of the best tone and this one is only 3-4 years newer than a few that have sold recently for over $4,000.00 Its ready to play with new strings.
Oh yeah, it stays in tune too, like all good PP's.
$2950.00 and I'll pay the shipping to lower 48.

Thanks Gary but for starters, I am not a push pull tech, nor do I want to be one. I have played Emmons push pulls for almost 10 years now and I understand the undercarriage, I'm able to tune them and make the necessary adjustments on them. From time to time I do minor adjustments and tune fellow steeler's push pulls who live in the area.
Now on to Gary Ball's pp that is listed here. Gary asked me to take the steel and make sure it was tuned and adjusted correctly. There was a little adjusting and tuning to do but nothing major. I took it out to the gig last Saturday night and it played nice. Stays in tune and sounds good. I will be posting some additional close up pictures that I took today. Also I shot a short video/audio clip of me playing it and I'll hopefully figure out how to post it here shortly. If you have any question about the steel, email me or call 509-292-0109. Good eye Brint. That picture is back a year or so. I changed out the fretboards to the chrome type and decided to try out the humbucker. Obviously I changed back to the original Emmons. The pictures Duane Becker posted were taken a couple days ago. I should've noted that.
