This is a very sophisticated VF80ex Fostex 8-track digital recorder with all the bells and whistles. It records onto an internal 3 1/2 inch 40MB hard drive and then onto a CD-R/RW drive. You can record, overdub, add effects and master to a finished CD all in one unit.
It has never been out of my (smoke-free) house since I bought it new two years ago. I have made many high-quality recordings with this unit, and it is just like brand new. I intend to replace it with a smaller, more portable hand-held unit to take with me when I am away from home.
I paid $545 for it and will sell it for $300(firm)
Don't confuse it with the lesser quality units that may not have built in hard drives ,effects and CD burners. I want to sell it within the next 10 days, as I am leaving and will be gone for several months and won't have the unit with me.
