This question would be best served in the COMPUTERS section, so I'm moving it.
I recall someone there once posted a web site that did exactly what you want. Hopefully they'll see this. |

Kenny;
Here is a link to a previous discussion about saving YouTube videos to your hard drive.
Guys;
Please don't use PMs or email to answer general purpose questions, where answers would be of benefit to everybody here. If you have technical information valuable enough to share with one member, please share it with all of us, in your topic replies.
PMs are for private communications, like giving a member your contact info, or other information that should not be made public, or is not relevant to the topic being discussed.

only thing that you have to do is when you are viewing a youtube movie, is copy the url of that particular video, then go to: http://www.techcrunch.com/get-youtube-movie/
then paste the url of the video there!
simple the file will be on your computer

I've used the url on the internet for several months. A friend of mine gave me this one after d/l several programs that were nothing more then demos and to tell you the truth free is always better especially when your on a fixed income.
if you used it you will see how simple it is, just copy the url of the youtube vid and past it in the url! 1, 2, 3,!

Everything worked as described but I'm on a Mac and the resulting video file couldn't be opened by any of my apps. Any suggestions? |
