A teacher posted this on a forum I use. Any answers?

I made a file on GarageBand 3 then brought it home on a

flash stick to work on. But my version at home is

GarageBand 4. It's not working. Am I able to fix this?

what is happening (or not happening) I just opened some songs that were version 3 and was able to open them just fine.

do you have loops or instruments on the version 3 that you don't on version 4 (like jampaks?)

Give me a little more information because the file formats have not changed.

One thing to remember is that a .band file is actually a directory!

if you have been double clicking on the file and it doesn't do anything.. try opening Garageband and using the File --> Open, navigate to the file and try opening it that way.
