I have a pair of these in my collection but never intalled one. Does anyone know how they compare to an E-66 or 10-1?
Thanks, Dave _________________ Dave O'Brien

I used one on a D-10 MSA Milly I had last year on the E9th neck. I found it to be similiar to the 10-1. I liked it. |

I have an EMCI D10 with TW pickups and it sounds very good.

Hi Dave,
The GeorgeL, T.W. is sort of the in between sound of the 10-1 and E66. I liked the depth and warmth of the 10-1 but, I liked the clarity of the E66 Buddy Emmons designed. So, The nice folks at GeorgeL's were kind enough to help me land on a pickup that had the best of both worlds. The TW is wound to 18,500 ohms with stainless blade magnets. |

Thanks Tommy!
I'll install one in one of my Carters - that sounds like a great combination! I was looking for a little more brightness for recording than the 10-1 or XR-16.
