I have a friend who recently purchased a Fender dbl 8, with no indication as to the age of the guitar. Ihas a fret board with roman numerals, and 2 small diamond emblems on the front. He has had the guitar refinished, but would like to know the apprx. age, HELP !
thanks, Phil Bender

A pic would be nice, but it sounds like a Dual Professional.
They were made from the late 40s until '53.
