I'm not computer savvy, I don't know how to post my copedant. With help and encouragement from Bruce Zumsteg, I now have a killer S-12 with all this and more. I sacrificed my "C" pedal and really put it to good use. It now raises string 5 B to C#, lowers string 9 D to C# and lowers string 10 B to A. Wa-La, 7 strings of A-6. String 11 F# and string 12 D. While holding pedals B&C you have a huge A-6 , with many possibilities. I lower string 9 D to C with RKL, for a killer rootless D-9th,Raise string 7 F# to G with RKR to get an A-7th . By using the E-E flat LKR you get F#m flat5. By using both RKL D-C & LKR E-E flat = Diminished! By using LKL E-F you have an A augmented. By releasing the B pedal a beautiful A major 7 appears. The G-6 is easily obtainable by raising string 7 F# to G with RKR =GEDB. By raising E-F with LKL you get G-7. I lower B to B flat with VKL and a rootless C-9th appears. Gmajor 7 can be had by including string 11 F#. LKV B to B flat, will lower B-C# raise that occurred using the B pedal to C thus another D-9th . You may rake or pick, I use 4, with no pesky strings to avoid and no crippling finger spacing. The Pfofessional THEORISTS will discover many more possibilities than this amateur. I played a 10 string Dekley for years and achieved 99% of these possibilities.

Leon-That is a good 3 pedal setup, working off the Dmaj7th and A6th, , I see a lot of stuff that would sound like the C6 neck. Good thinking.

Drew-Thanks for posting the copedant, makes it visibly more undersandably. Sorry I couldn't make Trufant this year. My Great Grandson's 10th birthday party, he is a treasure....al.SmileSmile

Embarassed using the LKR E-Eb, provides F#m6= rootless B9. Thanks Drew for the nice translation. I also lower string 10 B-Bb with LKV. On E-9 I use pedal 0 to lower strings 3&6 G#-G . Easy Em , EBG, but the feature I use, pedaling in and out of a diminished using pedals 0&1. String grips 456& 568 offer nice diminished kickoff, turnarounds ,modulation & last chord before resolving . I also use the A-6 to play non pedal using all those nice slants. Thanks again Drew for the help. Maybe someday I'll be computer savvy too.
