Musician's Friend has this on sale in their latest catalog for 49.00 . They can't get any cheaper than that.

Willis: I bought TWO of them. The EA-1 for $49.00 and the EA-2 for $79.00. As you know the Ea-2 has legs. Free Shipping. They are exceptonal values and I can tune them to different tunings and reach down and pick the one I want up and away I go. Playing as badly on that one as on the others. Nevermind, I'm having the time of my life. Oh, by the way, the Red one is lovely. I think these Artisans are super. ray

After hearing Gene Jones I decided I would get an artisan. Mine is red and has the legs. The first thing I did was re-string it. The original strings just didn't tune right. I can't say that it sounds like my eight string console because it is about 21 inches and so the sustain is weak. On the other hand (excuse me Randy) it does a nice job for the money. Jack
