We'll be at the Troubador theater at Music Valley off of Briley Parkway on Nov. 10th with Darrell Mc Call and all the Deputies that can make it for the Midnight Jamboree. Hoping for a big turnout. The author of the book; "Live fast,Love Hard" will be there with copies of her book. Very Happy

This is one Midnight Jamboree that I would love to attend! I checked my date book and we will be playing a gig that ends in time for us to pack up and listen to it on the drive home.
I'm glad to see the Country Deputies receive some long overdue recognition.
This is the type of music, show, and broadcasting that WSM built its reputation on!
The new book about Faron is at the top of my "have to have" list.

This should be one of the best shows of the year..I certainly will tape it Video and sound. Heres a shot of Ray Emmett on bass and singing harmony with the "Sheriff"..Richard was to the far left and my girlfriend zerod in on Faron..The fiddler is the late Leon Boulanger..Hopefully Ray will sing some of Farons songs also. Ray certainly would do Faron justice..With DM this will be a keeper show...

What I wouldn't give to be there. Faron is one of my all time favorites. I was able to see him perform a few times over the years starting around the late 50s with Big Ben Keith on steel.

I just returned from the Faron Young Tribute. If you didn't attend or listen on WSM or the Internet, you missed a really great show!
