Has anyone had a chance to check-out the E-H HOG with a steel guitar? I used to have one of their old guitar synths, and it had a cool filter, but it didn't track chords very well, and was a little touchy and glitchy. I've been wanting a fun off-the-wall effect, and the HOG looks like it might be pretty neat. Anyone tried it?

Thanks!
Cliff

Cliff-- my brother has a POG, kind of a fore-runner with various octave combinations (no 3rds or 5ths). I tried it with standard guitar & lap steel. Lots of fun and capable of very cool organ-like tones. Tracked single notes and chords extremely well without glitches.

The HOG has way more stuff than I'd ever use-- but the new Micro-POG looks just about right.
