Hi. I have a stand-up strap-on 10 string concoction that I have been trying to work into playing condition; a hugely hacked (for the better, I intend) Melobar. I have been working with an E 13 that I like a lot. But with your upcoming NYC seminar I was thinking of stringing it and tuning it and using it for the C6 event. I am wide open to the possibility that I could end up loving the C6. I'm an open book.
I was wondering what 10 string tuning you would suggest I put on it. I'd really like to spend some time familiarizing myself with it before your Feb. visit. (I'm really psyched!)
Thanks. |

I was checking back here daily out of curiosity to see what Reece´s answer was.

A) Thank you, Reece. Very much. Looking forward to Feb. 26.
B) Jeremy, I hear you--I was looking to share this but Reece eloquently explained his reluctance to answer this without knowing me, my backround or my direction/intentions for the future. I will respect his philosophy on this. |

That´s fine by me Jon, I´ve learnt to respect Reece´s opinions as he has always thought things through and there´s always a good reason behind his thinking.

Jeremy,
I too was looking forward to the answer, as I have very recently purchased a 10-string lap steel and a 12-string lap steel. But in the words or letters of that lovely lady of sole it's all about R-E-S-P-E-C-T. |
