I can't quite make out a vocal line in this Andy Iona song. It's near the end of the vocal part:

just to know that you are near
? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?
for it all I confess
I'm indebted to you, sweetheart

I thought the line question was "this happiness", but it doesn't sound right.

Can anyone with a better ear out there make it out?

I don't have that particular song. Do you have a sample of that verse that you could share?

Oh ... this is just too tempting ...

Indebted to You

This is the version off Andy Iona Vol 7: Drums of Hawaii ...

There are two others versions of this great song ... one on Andy Iona Vol 1 & another on Andy Iona Vol 3 ...

As always:

Sounds like "this happiness for it all I confess".

Either that or "I miss old Loch Ness where we kissed and undressed"

All three versions are muffled just enough at that point to make me wonder if it might be something else. I don't really hear the "s" in "happiness", like I do in "confess" (the next line); and, the Vol 7 version brings me to another question...

instead of "confess", it sounds more like:

"for it all I can bear" ??? ???

I couldn't find this tune on an internet lyric search.

Thanks for posting the tunes, Rick!

The other versions definitely sound like:

"for it all I confess"

So I guess the line above it would be, "This happines"

This happiness, for it all I confess...

But, I like Gerald's line better.

Hey Guys, thanks for turning me on to another killer song for the cruise ship gig. I'm playing it in F#9, sounds great and is easy to play.

I'm in agreement with Gerald and Rick.

THIS HAPPINESS.

I heard the "s" ending sound. Further it would rhyme with confess.

"This happiness" seems to fit in with the theme of the verse.

Jesse, does this mean a new TAB coming?

Aloha,
Don
