I know that some of you folks are from the greater Chicago area. It's pretty rare that I go out on the town anymore, but I'd love to see some live shows with either electric or acoustic steel.
Anyone gig regularly (or irregularly, for that matter)? Where? Any good places to see some Western swing or authentic Hawaiian music? I've been practicing on my dobro quite a bit lately and would like some inspiration beyond albums and dvds.
In my honest opinion, NOTHING beats live music. |

We're a little drive from Chicago and we do a lot of western swing. Actually, more than half my band comes from the area, but we are called the "Hoosierbillies". Check us out at www.hoosierbillies.com Next show is Nov 10th in South Bend.
