Hi everyone !
I feel like i know you already because i have been reading your stories for a few years now.I bought my first pedal steel guitar in 1996. That was the year i started, so i´m quite new still Rolling Eyes, learning something new every day. I´m glad that i finally made it this far, so now i´m a proud member. I´m looking forward to hear your thoughts also in the future. See you all...

Very Happy Whoa!
Popp; I see you must be the proud owner of a New Zum Steel? good choice, man.. We know you'll enjoy it tremendously.. I recently purchased a new S-10 Stage One Steel Guitar, which is licensed by Zum steel. I enjoy it a whole lot. Am semi- retired from playing actively, but still enjoy my efforts at entertaining folks; Played a whole heap for nearly 55 years, and loved every minute of it; now play my sho-Bro Resonator Guitar, most of the time. My old D-10 Sho Bud is way too heavy to haul around.
And Tamara; I am aware that you must play a D-8 or D-10 Fender 1000 Guitar; yours pictured is the very same color that I once owned; back in the 60's and 70's.. A fine guitar, indeed.. Again, Welcome, Popp..Regards, Bernie Whoa!

Just so there isn't any confusion...I play a black Fender Student S-10. The pic is my dream steel. Although the more I learn, the more I am thinking about seeing if it can be upgraded with knee levers. Several folks have sat down to it and it has a great of a sound as any I have heard played at jams. I guess I need to change that avatar?

Hi again.
Yes Harry, i´m very happy with my new Zum.Yes,i still have your old profex but the session 500 is more or less standing in the corner (too heavy...)Today i am using my small Gallien Krueger bass amp. Works good until a can afford to buy a new steel amp.Anyway, long time no see!
Bernie, yes i am enjoying my guitar very much.
Tamara and Terry, thank you for writing and for your care...
