Hi guys....offering this here first before I put it up on Craigslist and Ebay. I am selling my Mesa Boogie Nomad 55 amplifier to help pay for some new purchases. This is the 1x12 model. There are a few tears in the tolex, but nothing that affects the sound of the amp.

This is a great three channel tube amp that is best suited for guitar. This is not to say that you can't use the clean channel for steel, as I have done before. Not the best for C6th, but cuts through nice with some tube grit on the E9th. I could see this being a very versatile lap steel amplifier. Channel one has a "Pushed" switch and channels two and three have a "Vintage" switch that allows for a total of six different tone selections.

This amp has some great features such as the ability to switch the tube bias for either 6L6's or EL34's. Currently, there are EL 34's in the amplifier. The amp also has a footswitch that lets you change channels, add reverb or crank the master level for a solo. It has an effects loop and a speaker mute switch. All in all, a very versatile amp....not to mention it sounds great for all different kinds of rock.

The price on the amp is $700 (DROPPING TO $600) + shipping. This amp is heavy, and I would prefer a southern California sale. That being said, I will ship the amp if someone so desires.

Email me with an questions at glathrop@gmail.com as the forum messages don't seem to always get to me.

Thanks for checking out the post.
