Who was that playing the single neck Sho-Bud with Josh Turner last night. It was during the televised portion where he was singing "Your Man". This guitar looked to be one of the older S-10 professionals, not a Pro-1. It had the natural birdseye maple finish. Sounded great, makes me want to get my old Sho-Bud out and start using it again.

Didn't catch it but I think Jeff Surratt plays for Josh Turner. If it was him, it was probably a Sho-Bud rebuilt with the Marrs mechanics or the new Sho-Pro guitar; Jeff builds these guitars. |

Jeff is no longer playing with Josh Turner. Justin Schipper (a forumite) has been with Josh for around four months now and was playing the Sho~Bud on the Opry last night. _________________ Tony Rankin |

Thanks for the kind words. I gotta be honest I was a little nervous because Russ Pahl and Paul Franklin were the the other steel players that night. Both are heroes of mine.
I'm playin' a sho-bud pro I, but in a week or so I'm going to place an order with Jeff for one of his show pro's. |
