Very nice Taylor T5 Standard. I never play it, so it needs to go to someone who will. Very versatile, it can sound like anything from a Tele to an acoustic. The electronics were designed by Rupert Neve of recording console fame. Uses a magnetic body sensor instead of a Piezo pickup for the acoustic sounds. It also has two magnetic pickups for electric sounds. One looks like the old "Lipstic" pickup, but is actually a stacked humbucker. There is another stacked humbucker under the end of the fretboard. Using a TRS to XLR cable, provides a balanced output for playing directly into a sound board, no direct box is needed. The EQ controls are active to provide any kind of sound you could want.

It comes with a like new hardshell, Alligator print case, original hangtags and warranty registration, and a DVD that demonstrates the wide array of sounds. There is one small ding at the top of the lower bout, but I had to look at it in bright light to see it.

Here is a link to the Taylor description: http://www.taylorguitars.com/Guitars/Electric/T5-Standard/

The price is $1500 shipping included in the lower 48. I can take Paypal. More pictures available via email.

(The big spot on the RH side of the upper bout is a flash spot, it is not a blemish on the guitar.)

Wow,that's a very good price and a great playing guitar too.

I've tried that guitar out numerous times at Guitar Center in Dallas and it is sweet.

If I played guitar in our band I would snatch that up in a minute.

I've got one of these, the neck feels awesome. I never knew that Rupert Neve had anything to do with the electronics, but that doesn't stop these from being great guitars.

Darvin, Would you be interested in a trade for an equally nice Taylor 710-CE?

I'm really not interested in a trade right now, except maybe for a steel of equal or lesser value.

Hi Darvin,
Would you like to trade for a real nice orginal Dobro 1985 model when they were still making them under Dobro company?
This guitar sounds with the best of them, good tone in great shape for a 1985 model.
