Does it make any difference where the effects pedals go,,before the volume pedal or after?
I have mine,,steel to BB to Delay to volume pedal to amp

Put the delay after the vp, and you're good to go... I'm sure it works where you have it, but I think you might like it better after the vp.

The only thing I put ahead of the volume pedal is a distortion box. Everything else is after the VP.

tone effects first. delay effects last. volume in the middle.

I understand the fact that if you turn off your volume pedal you lose the delay or tail and thats why most players keep the delay after the pedal. But I was wondering about the fact if you don't keep the volume pedal full on you lose the fullness of the delay setting you have and not get the full effect.It seems to me it would be better for the most part to keep the delay before the pedal. Am I way off here?

I put my Boss DD-5 after my Hilton pedal and I haven't noticed a drop in the amount of delay.
