I there a thread or source to describe the Sho Bud

Here ya go..

A couple more pages on the site are interesting, and there are a couple "glitches" from time to time like "prototypes", and "LDGs" that had LDG decals slapped on them when they really weren't. I believe too that "Professionals" came out in latter 69 too.

Interesting for sure, and it's great to have it all at out "fingertips" if you'll forgive the pun..

Go HERE (old forum search page) and type in "Shobud Models" and select, oh, Archive: Bar Chatter, Archive: Pedal Steel and anything else that might work for you and spend some time reading these threads. There's some good info--some is less than definitive, some more, and some is a little off of the subject but still a good way to get a handle on the history & evolution.

Here are a couple that I turned up:

--Jon Light: new Sho~Bud owner if nothing goes wrong with the auction I just won (I received an odd email after making the Paypal payment that is probably an ignorable fraud attempt but it worried me).
