Since b0b closed down the thread (and I'm sure he had his good reasons for doing so), I'd just like to add that if anybody has any info they'd like to share with me, or want to discuss various matters of the case,- you'll find all the info you need to get in touch with me by clicking HERE.

Please don't start over again in this thread, I'll post if anything 'dramatic' should happen (though I doubt it will), but contact me in private.

Finally I'd just like to thank everybody for their support and advice, this has meant more to me than anyone of you can imagine, and proven that "virtual" friendships can be just as much worth as the "real" ones.

UPDATE - E.B. failed to contact me within the deadline (noon today, East Cost time) and thereby missed his chance to find a 'peaceful' solution to this.

I have composed a formal complaint, with good help from my friend and fellow forumite Russ Young, and will send this to the proper authorities in the US as soon as I find the correct contact info.

This will include PayPal, the Better Business Bureau of Maine, the Kennebec County district attorney and the state Consumer Protection Bureau.
