Hi Lamar!
How have you been? I hope well.
Lamar - is this one of your keyless guitars or is it keyed?
Thanks!

I saw this instrument at the PSG show in 2004. It is one of the most stunning works of PSG art I have seen. Lamar, please correct me if I am mistaken, but this guitar has mother of pearl fret markers inlaid into the fret board. As you can see in the pictures, the workmanship is flawless. The price Lamar is asking is an absolute bargain. |

Lamar builds unique instruments. I haven't seen 2 that are exactly alike. A true craftsman that takes a lot of pride in his work and wants you to be happy with the guitar that you buy from him. Customer response is the best you can imagine.
I've been zooming on this particular guitar since someone posted pics of it a couple years back. Truly a gorgeous instrument and solidly constructed as well. If I had the cash, this guitar would be living at my house. |

Nothing else to say but "good things" about the "Lamar" guitars. I'm a proud owner of a keyless universal.

Mr. Colvin that is one beautiful steel. Your steels look very beautiful, but somehow manage to look more solid than the other ones, I'm not sure why, but they have a look that says "I'll hold up well". What does that D-10 weigh?

If anyone is even "considering" a new guitar,,,I would highly recommend this one. I "tortured" it while visiting at Lamar's house and can say it is as fine of precision craftsmanship as you will ever find. Lamar is a great innovator,,,and has the ability to bring those innovations to fruition,,,an example of which is the straight pull changer on my guitar,,,it's been a year,,,and I've yet to break a string. |

Man,,,I can't believe this guitar is not moving!!! Guess it's just that enough people are not familiar with it? This guitar will stand up against anything being produced today,,,, |

There may be production type guitars (all wood lacquer??) for this kind of money,,,but a "one at a time" built precision instrument,,????? This is a good deal for someone!!! |

I agree with Steven from Ohio. This is one fantastic looking guitar. Someone stop me before I do something stupid like sell my ZB again.
