Watching "The Last of The Breed" tonight on that PBS promotion inspires me to remind all:
The Last of The Breed; A video of that-named tour early 2007, featuring Ray Price, Merle Haggard and Willie Nelson, ...backed by 'Asleep At the Wheel' and Ray's 'Cherokee Cowboys'.
Man, how dearly I love those guys.
Merle STILL makes my hair stand up in waves of chicken skin; His performance of "That's the Way Love Goes" on this show a particular case in point. Dressed in all black including a fine felt hat with Panama brim.
It's like an Angel knocked on my door and said, "excuse me, but I was sent because you need to be reminded just how grand life has been".
