To anyone looking for parts,

It appears that someone has decided to dismantle a quad and sell it piece by piece.

I'm not affiliated with the seller, I don't vouch for him & I'm disappointed that someone has parted out another Stringmaster for the sake of profit.

Perhaps someone can be helped by this stupidity.

Hey Bill if you look up Fender Stringmaster, you'll get the whole list. I don't see how this could be a parts guitar like the guy claims, it's a nearly complete instrument with all the parts he is selling.

Sorry that I didn't include the auction number...I found it as I was getting ready to go out the door...not to mention that it's super easy to find.

Like Keith said, just type in Stringmaster and you'll find tons 'o parts.

It sounds like a Quad that someone modified back in the day and then the guy bought it & decided to part it out instead of restoring it or keeping it as it was. He says that someone tried to add pedals to it...I believe.

It pretty much sounds like it was complete to me. What a shame...I would've bought the whole damn thing if I had the chance! I've always wanted to find a Quad to restore and cherish until I die. Oh well, someday I'll find my bargain Stringmaster & restore it to perfection.

The sum of the parts in this case is not equal to the whole.

This guy needs to go to school and learn some ARITHMETIC.

He would have gotten much more money had he sold the guitar.

On the other hand, maybe I just don't realize how kind hearted this guy is because he may be just trying to help every Stringmaster player out there in Guitar Land who needs a spare part. My what a heart this guy has.

Aloha,
Don

It's a shame that someone would part out a complete guitar if in fact that's what he did but if it helps someone else lookin for one particular part to complete another guitar then I can live with that I guess.
