I posted an add on the classifieds here to trade my 50's Fender triple neck 8 for a same era double neck 8. (I belive my model is a Professional or Custom? Not a Stringmaster for sure)
Is it reasonable to assume that a 50's Fender triple is worth a little more than a double of the same model line? |

Single pickup per neck? Trapezoidal shaped pickups? You are correct--triple neck is a Custom, double neck is a Dual Professional. And yes, T-8's go for more money than D-8's. |

Yep, a Custom would be worth a little more than a Dual Professional. Dual Pros generally seem to get about $800 to $1100 while Customs will usually get 1K to $1300.
Depending on the condition of course . . |

Thanks for the advice guys- A few forum members have offered to buy mine, and another forum member has offered his early 50's dual Pro in excellent shape for $950.
Hoping to not spend money here, so maybe asking the same $950 for mine is fair... |

Thanks for your help everyone--
I found a buyer for my Triple (which needs restoration) and found a really nice Dual Pro for the same price. |
