What year is this S-12? forget this one, I moved it!

Could you tell me what year this Single 12 MSA was built & how it left the factory?? Ser #1C 420.

It has a universal setup [7&5] with one of the lowers being changed into a raise [it was Dbl raise, Dbl lower changer]. I was curious to know if that was done at the factory or a conversion? Sure works good, either way. It has the Bud Carter Signature on a sticker underneath.
