Does anyone know if Melobar is still in operation? I ordered and paid for a stand for my Supersteel over 4 years ago and have not received it yet.

I've tried e-mailing Ted and Melobar and the e-mails get bounced back as undeliverable. It's been a year since I've been in contact with Ted. I guess I've been way too patient in waiting for the stand. Ted kept telling me he/they would get to it.

Yup.

(Read their "About" page -- the Smith family no longer owns Melobar, although Ted Smith is still "connected" to the company.)

Steve, you can contact Jim Frost, who has taken over operations at Melobar: jfrost@melobar.com

My Melobar issue was resolved after contacting Jim Frost through his store website. All of the Melobar.com e-mails no longer work. Jim informed me that he sold the Melobar line to someone else, but they have not produced anything.

I have to say that Jim was very kind in resolving and honoring a deal that was made with Ted Smith 5 years ago that Jim did not have to honor. I didn't get the stand for my Supersteel, but Jim did send me a new Melobar Rattler. Jim Frost is a true gentleman and a super businessman.
