GeorgeBoards is down to only 4 of these Tinted Poplar Wood S8 Lap Steels. This is the same series that Steinar from Norway purchased to utilize on his CD.
This particular GB is really cool, Amber tinted Sunburst finish has been “Relic”-ed (Made to look like 50 years of playing) while being Brand New!
We are Blowing these last 4 pieces out at below George’s cost to make. We need some quick cash and are pleased to provide 4 last opportunities for a ½ price deal.
At 650.00+shipping this is less than the beat vintage lap steels that are currently being sold on auction type websites for considerably higher “collectable rates”. Why buy some one else’s pile of problems when you can have the Real Thing for a very reasonable price?
Koa String Receiver and Nut, Ruby over Abalone Control Knobs, Cute Sunburst wooden pickup cover to match the finish, 22.5 scale, Hula Dancer fretboard.
Gold anodized recessed output jack.
This Relic plays and Sounds Great……………………………………………
Email me for buying details and these will go QUICK>

Hey amichael@gci.net I got your email; but it was undeliverable back to ya....as you probably have a wrong email(spelled wrong or a wrong return email)on the forum.
So here is the answer to your question about does george have any finished Lap steels>
This one certainly is NOT 650.00+shipping...ah..ha..

Here's some more eye-candy in the works.
These last 2 solid 1 piece poplar wood steels are in the final stages of completion.
This one is Deep Translucent Black Tint , close look reveals the grain beneath. Deep Lacquer top coats with a micron finish to glass smooth.
This one is DarkBurst Black to natural wood with deep top coats with a micron finish to glass smooth. Extra Nice.
These are the Final 4 Instruments from this Hula Girl Lap Steel Series and will never be made again.
These are truly George Piburn in his finest hour.
There will never be anything like it again; so now's your chance; better jump while you can. _________________ Ricky Davis

Hey! That's my artwork there! I created that photo of my Blue Lagoon just for fun and emailed it to George about a week ago. I thought he'd get a kick out of it.
It's so funny to see it pop up here. Sweet!

These are the Last 3 of this style to ever be made |
Why? These are very sharp guitars. Why stop making them, since they are becoming popular?
I would like to see these in full production.
Very nice looking and sounding rides! |
