I just picked up a Bravo SE CD/DVD robotic printer/burner
in Koala Lumpur. Nice little unit.

PC and Mac compatible too.

Insert a master CD and it can make a disk image of it,
so any level mastering work is not lost
from Jam for instance.

Or create the cd from scratch from your computer files.

Add integrated cover art, or your own work
from photoshop etc.
It lays out very nicely and wastes nothing.

Insert 20 disks and let it go.
Come back a while later and they are all done.
No waiting 5-7 minutes and switching disks,
nor pasting printed stickers etc.

Saves the whole think as linked files as a project.
Need more, stack in more disks.

The last 20 CD's I did took most of 2 afternoons.
This way it takes about 2 hours unattended.
I'll save the cost just in lost time before the year is over.

List price USA around $1,500 a bit more here.
But worth ever penny in time saving for a small studio etc.

Main drawback is proprietary ink cartriges,
and VERY short space above them for external
inktank and hoses retrofit.
I will explore that eventually.
I have 5 carts. right now.
It does around 100 disks a cartrige they say.

But I just picked up that system for my Canon BJ860 paper printer.
No running out when a job is due and Tesco is closed.

It's been a good weekend.
Took the wife to a new city and got ALL
my technical shopping list done in 4 days off island.
