Hi lapsteelers,
It's been a while, but here's a new tab. Sometimes life is more than just music.
I heard Johnny Cash doing this song in his American Recordings produced by Rick Rubin, and it stuck in my mind.
The original composer and poet is Rod McKuen, who wrote it for a Frank Sinatra album.
Here in Europe we of course remember mister McKuen singing "Soldiers who wanna be heroes" with his sneakers on !
Most of the tablature is melody this time, with some harmonic additions.
My version on YouTube is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_OBMboiSVYw
Below is the first part, and if you want to give it a try, send me an email, and you'll get the complete PDF and the mp3 backing track. Hope you like this one too, all the best,
Bert

Very pretty arrangement, Bert. I always remember a sweet version by Thumbs Carlisle.
