My (new) old Garnet Session Man is working out great. I would, however, like to add a midrange control to the first channel.

The amp has a 'solo boost' circuit that I'll never use. It has a pot on the back of the amp. How simple would it be to change that to a mid control for channel 1? Or, could I just add a resistor in to cut the mids by 1/2? Or, I could even stand to lose the bass control, as I never touch it.

Suggestions?
I could handle some simple changing of parts, but I'm also considering having a tech do this. I'd just like some advice going in.

As always,
Thanks!
