I believe this is JayDee's E9 copedent on his Push/Pull Emmons guitars:

lowers 4&8 a half step on LKL,
raises 4&8 a half step on LKR,
lowers 2 a full step w/ a half stop and 9 a half step on RKL
and raises 1 and 7 a full step on RKR.

He has said he feels the 1/2 way point on RKR. Maybe that's where he picks up a change on the C6 neck. He plays an Emmons pedal setup, but interestingly the left knees are reversed.

He used to split the 4 and 8 raises, raising 8 on RKL while dropping string 2 and raising 4 on LKR while dropping 9.

He has some additional changes on his MSA I'm not sure of. A "0" pedal and a VKL, but the work he's most known for over the years was done on his P/P guitars with the above setups. Nothing too mysterious, just a genius player with great technique and a lot of soul.

He doesn't.It's an Emmons pedal set-up with a Day left knee set-up. Smile

And he must have an extra joint in his shin somewhere to pull that off!
