There was a Peavey Vegas 400 on ebay until last
night with a starting price of $325 plus
shipping and it didn't even get a bid. whats wrong
with the Vegas 400? Is it the weight or cabinet
size or both or is it the sound that they procuce?
Jim

Great amp! Same schematic as a Nashville 400 with one extra channel. I mod a lot of these so I know that is the case.

Cabinet is the same size as the older Session 400 and produces a nice tone.

Like the N-400, I find them hard to dial in the sound I am looking for. Not so after they are modded.

Please close this one up. Ken knows what is talking
about and he answered my questions.

You bet Ken knows what he is talking about... I have owned a Webb; Fender Super Reverb; Session 500; Nashville 1000 and 112... I am convinced this is the sleeper amp that has the sound. I am going to Ken's house in November to get the mod that he says will give this amp the final touch in reverb and full note color. Can't wait for this trip in only two more months. I will call you Ken for the best time.

Rick, look forward to doing the amp for you. I think it is "a sleeper amp" as well. Great tone and versatility. Two channel makes it very handy for the multi instrumentalist as well.
