I'll be performing at
The Legendary Walkabout Hotel & Tiki Bar
on scenic Hollywood Beach FL
Saturday Sept 15th from 6:00 til 8:00 P.M.
I'll have the mighty Remington Steelmaster T-8 as well as my trusty Stratocaster.
It'll be a mix of happy bar songs and my original tunes, which are mostly happy bar songs.
Videos will be on my YouTube channel shortly thereafter. _________________

That sounds like fun Rick. I wish I could be there as well. We will just have to wait for the world tour.
Is it true that they are closing the tiki bar?
So now that you are getting the hang of this video thing,
When are you going to start putting your videos on Podcast?
Just asking, that's all |

Thanks Don, I'll be playing right below the room you and Ruby stayed in when you visited us last year.
It was great to see you in St Louis.
Chuck, I sure will buddy!
It's all about the videos now, isn't it?
Sharing the fun with everybody . .
Thanks for the bump Al!
Mike you're still the best friend real music ever had.
G-man, the world tour is happening (on YouTube)!
The Walkabout is being sold, and at this moment its fate is uncertain.
It may continue as a quaint beachside resort and tiki bar, or it may be torn down for condos. But the guy who has owned it for the past several years is a close friend, and that made playing there nothing but fun.
Podcast hmm? Sounds like a cool idea . .
Bobster dear friend, that's a tempting offer. I could yodel and play the banjo while you channel Merle Travis.
I betcha we'd take the town by storm!
George, it's sad but true. I used to sleep all day and leap all night - now I'm Farmer Brown . .
Ernie, you know I'll play Song Of The Island.
I'll even dedicate it to ya!
Thanks Chuck, just look for 40 more videos on my YouTube channel by Monday!

Jim, thanks!
That would be great! I really hope you do.
We could have ourselves a time . .
Thanks Gerald!
TV - if you have to have a problem, that's the one to have.
But I wish you could be here too - I know you'd like it!
Jeff, so do I - but it will be on YouTube before too long.
And in 4 weeks we'll be hanging out in Joliet!
In fact I wish every one of you guys could be here,
we could have us a marathon jam session on the beach and wow everybody!
You guys are the absolute best. |

See if you can get one of the Tiki's before they destroy the place. It would look great in the studio next to the lighted dance floor... |

Rick,
We know you will give it a great "Faire thee Well".
Know that one door closes, another one opens!!
Looking forward to the You Tube post.
And thank you for the STL (St. Louis) convention play backs. Love the "Harbor Lights" trio. That was really special! TX

G-man, those tikis give my wife the heebie-jeebies. If I got one, I'd have to keep it out of sight.
Richard, that's great! I'll look forward to finally meeting you in person.
Ron, I'm glad you're enjoying the Hawaiian Gathering videos.
Stay tuned to the same channel - http://youtube.com/rickalexander47 .

Well, it went really well - everyone was having fun there on the beach at the Tiki Bar.
There were about 50 people on the property, plus lots of people on the Boardwalk and on the beach.
I did a 2 hour show, I played the Remington Steelmaster for about half the songs and the Fender Stratocaster the other half. I also did about 50% original tunes and the rest were my fractured versions of golden oldies of assorted genres.
This is the tiki bar . .
And true to his word, that's forumite Richard Bass on the left corner of the bar.
Here's a shot of the ocean . .
Here's me and Richard . .
Then about 9:00 just as the last of the gear was being loaded into the van, who should pull up but forumite Ron Brennan!
So Ron and his wife came over to the studio for a little while, here he is playing the Fender Quad with no picks and a Black Phoenix bar.
I've uploaded some videos from the show on YouTube - http://youtube.com/rickalexander47
