Dear Country Music Fans,
Startex Records is proud to announce the release of Jake Hooker's newest CD, The Outsider. Jake's new record features 12 great traditional honky-tonk tunes with lots of steel guitar and fiddles and the usual great lineup of musicians.
For those of you who enjoyed Jake's previous Startex album, Faded Lights, I know you are going to love The Outsider. For those who have not yet heard a Jake Hooker CD, you can listen to sound samples online at www.startexrecords.com.
You'll find all the album information including song titles and musician information below as well as on the Startex Records website.
Be sure to check out sound samples for all our other artists including Dottie Jack, Frenchie Burke, Curtis Potter and Dugg Collins at www.startexrecords.com.
Thanks a million!

It was a pleasure to hear Jake and all the guys in the band in Bandera this past weekend. I don't get a chance to hear them often but as always it was on top of the the mark.
I am looking forward to hearing the new CD and I can assure you it is jam packed with talent and will be great.
Keep up the good work guys. |

I've known Jake for years and Jim for decades, and they're both monsters, so I'm sure this will be a big success for both of them.
I just got XM radio and they've been playing Jake's material HEAVY on Willie's Place. _________________ My rig: Infinity and Telonics.
Son, we live in a world with walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with steel guitars. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg? |

I'll have to have this latest CD. I haven't heard the samples but "Faded Lights" is a fantastic as is "You Had A Call". I think you can't miss with Jake if you like the real stuff.
Ditto on what Herb said about Willie's Place. Herb, you probably know that you can also listen online at xmradio.com. _________________ HagFan
