Hi everybody, HELP!!! Bob Stone turned me on to Andy Volk's book and now I am a lap steel MANIAC! My wife says that I might as well sleep with it. I played pedal steel back in the seventies and then quit to play keyboards until a few years ago .I have been looking at the forum for a while and I sure do appreciate all your contributions. Soooo interesting. Anyway, I just bought a beat up Dickerson from Ebay which plays well but the fretboard is in need of paint. Is there a quick fix? I can see most of the fret marks but it's not a pretty sight. Thanks, David
