Rick just sent us a very nice Country/Rock influenced steel number recorded on his '53 Fender Quad.

Rick will be at the HSGA Joliet 2007 convention this October and will perform a solo set!

Hey, that's really pretty Rick. Hope to meet you again some time. I can't make it to St Louis this time, but plan to make Dallas again. If you're there I'll look for you.

Hi Rick,
Another clear recording, complete with accurate bar slants and a sweet melody! I look forward to seeing (and hearing) you in St. Louis.

Nicely done Rick. This is one of my favorites that you've done. The fact that you wrote the song as well makes it even more cool! Smile

Thanks so much for taking care of that, Gerald!

Incidentally Gerald will be playing with me at the Joliet convention, along with Art Lang and Virginia Grzadzinski.
The A-Team!
SLOW RUNNING RIVER will be one of the songs in my set . .

Thank you Howard - I'm planning on Dallas too, so hopefully I'll see you there!

Chuck, thank you for that.
I'm looking forward to seeing you and hearing you play in St Louis too - what time are you on?
I'm playing at 10:00 - opening act . .

Thanks Matt, I'm so glad you like it.
Yeah when you write your own song you don't have to buy a mechanical license to record it.Smile

I have a video on YouTube playing this song with the see-all overhead camera angle.
It's not the same take, I might have played it a little differently here and there . .
