Can anyone of you give me some info on "the BOX" manufactured by Franklin? I heard it by Paul on the Dire Straits records, like the sound, perhaps plan to order one. But I don't have any info on it. Can not find any on the internet either.

Thanks in advance

I saw Paul playing it with DS on one of the videos and it looks like a rectangle box with sound hole like a acoustic guitar and the bridge looked like an acoustic guitar. I'm sure there's more to it than that but, that kind of gives you an ideal and I don't think there is any being built by Mr. Franklin. The one Paul Jr. played may be the only one. Theresa may chime in and explain it and if so, Theresa was the box part of the building block when your dad was designing the ped-a-bro?
